c9 hydrogenated petroleum resin has good tackifying, compatibility and photothermal stability. It is an indispensable component in adhesives such as hot melt adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives. It is widely used in sanitary products, food packaging, books and periodicals binding and other industries. At present, although China can produce some C5 hydrogenated petroleum resin, C9 hydrogenated petroleum resin still depends on imports. Over the years, Professor Liang Changhai's team has developed a highly active and toxic hydrogenation catalyst and a process with a clear warming trend for the export of hydrogenation loaders in response to the key technical problems of harsh reaction conditions, many colloids and high impurities in the catalytic hydrogenation process of C9 petroleum resin. The quality of the obtained C9 hydrogenated petroleum resin is much better than that of similar domestic imported products, filling the gap in China's hydrogenated petroleum resin industry

Professor Liang Changhai's team took the hydrogenation of catalyst to prepare petroleum resin as the core technology, and jointly verified the dynamic strength and functionality of the material.
